Sometimes correctly fixing some of these issues take a great deal of time, however the good news is, we're about to offer you a handful of common life messes that can be resolved quickly - that's the point of a Life Hack - by definition they are pretty easy, cheap and save you time in the process.
These hacks will actually make your lives much easier and improve your daily life.
Below are a bunch of quick fixes for common daily issues, so you can spend your time doing the things that make you happy!
Wood Scratch + Walnuts
Spending too much money on buying expensive chemicals for your wood scratches may somehow fix the problem, but did you know the natural oils in walnuts can help conceal the scratches or scuff on your expensive wood? Give it a shot!
Gum on Clothes
Imagine the horror that your favorite jeans or shirt was covered in gum. You’ve tried all your best to remove it, but the dreaded gum is still there. Worry no more! Simply, fold your garment/fabric into a plastic bag (make sure the gum faces outward). Seal the bag and freeze it for a couple of hours. Then, remove the garment and with a dull knife, scrape the gum as quickly as possible and BOOM - no more gum!
Defog your Mirror Easily
A hot shower is one of the best ways to shake off stress and tension after a long day of work, but after that steamy shower, your mirror is fogged and you can’t see anything on it. Instead of wiping it with a cloth, grab your blow dryer and speed up the process of moisture vaporization. You can now see in your fog-free mirror, no problem!
Remove Clothes Wrinkle Without Ironing
We as a society are always in a rush and ironing is one of those tasks that could be terrifying especially to first timers, hence, we usually leave our homes with wrinkled and unattractive clothes. One quick solution to de-wrinkle your clothes is by hanging your clothes
up in the bathroom, so while you were having a hot shower, the steam will help soften the wrinkles till they’re completely gone. No more wrinkle clothes from now on!
Vinegar to Remove Coffee Stains
You love sipping a hot cup of latte, then the unthinkable happen, you accidentally spilled coffee on your shirt. Now, you are panicking and don’t know what to do. Don’t let those nasty stain affects your day. Pour half cup of white vinegar and mix with one cup of water. With a dry towel, soak it on the solution and dab it around the stain. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and wash your clothes after. For larger stain, soak your garment on one-part vinegar and two parts
water, overnight and wash it the following day.
Remove Shoe Scuff with Petroleum Jelly
Before you throw out your lovely pair of scuffed leather shoes, consider doing this simple remedy. Buff the scuffed area with a little dab of petroleum jelly, then wipe with a clean damp cloth after. Goodbye scuffed shoes!
Keep Cables Organized with a Binder Clip
No one likes to see cluttered cables around the table. Binder clips are surprisingly useful in so many areas and they are cheap too! Simply attach cables to the edge of your desk with a binder clip. Simple yet very effective!
